With apologies to FDR, another day of infamy
Mark Watson
Yesterday, November 7, 2009 – a date which will live in infamy – the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by men and women of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Grave danger.
The United States was at peace with that body of Congress, and, at the solicitation of the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, was still in conversation with its Democratic members looking toward the maintenance of freedoms in the land.
Indeed, one hour after Democratic leaders had commenced attacking Article I of the American Constitution, the San Francisco representative to the United States and her colleagues delivered to members of the press a formal reply to a recent American message. And, while this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or of an attack.
It will be recorded that the distance of San Francisco from Washington, D.C. makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time the Democratic-controlled Congress has deliberately sought to deceive the citizens of the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued liberties.
The attack yesterday on the Constitution has caused severe damage to American liberties and economic stabilities. I regret to tell you that very many American lives will be lost. In addition, American ships of prosperity have been reported attacked throughout the land between San Francisco and the Capitol.
Yesterday the Democratic congressional forces also launched an attack against limitations imposed upon it by Article I of the Constitution.
Last night the Democratic forces attacked the constitutional freedom of association found in the First Amendment.
Last night the Democratic congressional forces attacked America’s free enterprise system.
Last night the Democratic congressional forces attacked America’s medical community.
Last night Democratic congressional forces attacked America’s health insurance providers
And this morning Democratic congressional forces attacked the truth.
The Democratic-controlled House of Representatives has therefore undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the country’s land and sea. The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. The people of the United States have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation.
As free-born citizens of the United States, we have directed that all measures be taken for our defense, that always will our whole nation remember the character of the onslaught against us.
No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated attack, the American people, in their righteous might, will win through to absolute victory.
We believe that we interpret the will of the American Constitution and of the people when we assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost, but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.
Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory and our interests are in grave danger.
With confidence in our Constitution, with the unbounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph. So help us God.
We ask that the American people declare that since the unprovoked and dastardly attack by the Democratic congressional forces on Saturday, November 7, 2009, a state of war has existed between the United States and the United States House of Representatives.
It is painfully clear that the current occupier of the White House will not deliver the above defense to the integrity of the U. S. Constitution. Rather, President Barack Obama has demonstrated his resolve to correct the Constitution’s “fundamental flaws”.
Freedom of association, as guaranteed by the First Amendment, recognizes that citizens of this country are free to join, or not join, with others in pursuits of interest, necessity, beliefs, and even in health care. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s bill tramples upon Freedom of Association by requiring each and every American to become a member of an association known as Health Care Insureds.
Those who unjustifiably refuse to join in the ranks of the Health Care Insured face criminal prosecution under IRS regulations.
Will Pelosi next seek to require everyone in this country to join an Urban Active Health Club? More likely, she would probably want to require everyone to join the Democratic Party.
